The Crux of Christianity in the Epistle to the Colossians

Reformasium Podcast

“Lively Discussion from a Reformed Perspective.”

Brought to you by Dale Stenberg and Drew Mery.

After some time away from recording, due to Drew having to deal with matters pertaining to his career, Dale and Drew are back to discuss biblical matters.  In this episode they start a series on a discussion of the letter to the Colossians, discussing its themes, doctrinal content and importance, as well as it’s practical applications.  Colossians is such an important book in the corpus of Scripture that all Christians should be thoroughly familiar with.  This discussion begins to explain the thematic and doctrinal significance of Colossians and how it parallels certain OT themes.  Note, a portion of the recording was accidentally skipped or lost.  It’s the part where Drew mentions the main theme of Colossians.  For that reason, we’ll just write it here.  The main theme of Colossians is the supremacy of Christ over all of creation and the sufficiency of Christ in redemption.
